Description:
This proposed renovation transforms a 1,600 SF storefront playhouse
into a vibrant performance space for small-troupe productions. GLOthink
reconfigured the interior by tearing down a partition to create a more
open, inviting space. A revamped lobby with bright colors, new lighting,
central ticketing desk and poster-display wall leads to a functional
40-seat auditorium featuring a platform thrust stage. Additionally, new
sound-buffering storefront windows and exterior signage create a
stronger street presence in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood
